Postdoctoral Fellow or Research Associate
The Shepherd Lab in the Department of Neurobiology at the University of Utah is seeking a research associate or postdoctoral fellow to carry out a sponsored project (Ionis Pharmaceuticals) in the lab focused on investigating the biology of retrovirus Gag-like genes in intercellular communication. The ideal applicant has biochemistry and cell biology experience, including protein purification methods. This project may be of particular interest for scientists interested in novel virus-like delivery approaches and developing new gene delivery tools.
