Short Biography

 I received a B.S. in Neuroscience from Texas Christian University in 2008 where I worked in the lab of Gary Boehm, my research was focused on neuroimmune interactions in a mouse model.  I completed my PhD at UT-Southwestern Medical Center in February of 2014 in the lab of Phil Thomas.  My doctoral work centered on investigating the effects of neurotrophin signaling pathways on the expression of proteins involved in ALS pathogenesis.
